When you are logged into the System trying to send the message to enable or disable the vehicle you would have come across the below widget icons.
Here is a brief understanding, of each of the status icons and what they mean.
Status: This will indicate if a vehicle is in GSM coverage or not. Generally, if the red cross is showing over the vehicle, it is likely to indicate that the vehicle is outside of GSM and will read offline. It could also mean an issue with the device, however, we would recommend you contacting Blackhawk in the first instance to verify.
State: This indicates the current status of the device as to whether it is asleep (ignition off) or awake (ignition on).
Engine: This indicates if the vehicle is enabled or disabled (when the cross is red).
Battery: This indicates the vehicle battery condition, not the device. There are several states this icon can be in. Fully charged, partially charged, battery disconnected (when the battery cable has been removed) or null (when the device has been physically removed).
